Interested in what type of work I do? You’re in the right place! From festivals + programming, public interventions, co-design processes and games, I’ve been apart of many different projects in public space. Here is a few different projects I’ve had the pleasure of working on!
For our master thesis project, Fluke designed and facilitated a five month co-design process with multiple interventions that resulted in a one day festival exploring what our public space is missing in 2021. Our efforts unexpectedly led to an annual mural competition administered by the housing organisation that manages the community that still happens to this day!
Sunchasers and Shadowhunters
A new materialist game and zine I prototyped as part of the Posthuman Summer Lab hosted at RMIT in Melbourne in Feb 2025, with Professor Rosi Braidotti, and played as part of the Swansea Arts Weekend. Participants follow the sun and trace shadows of different types of materiality with chalk, creating a fleeting snapshot of the city
In winter 2022, Fluke created the program for Galaxy Pontonen – a winter placemaking project initatied by Stockholm Stad, where we exploring the universe on a floating platform initiative in Liljiholmen, Stockholm using a labyrinth. Participants could co-create by adding lights to the installation, along with a variety of other cultural from an installation from Nobel Lights Week, dance and even winter sauna
Future Design Lab Cymru
As part of my Change Plan for the Welsh Future Generations Leadership Academy, I have convened the first Future Design Lab Cymru. The collective working group explores different futures methodologies through craft, play and Welsh folklore, based on the Celtic calendar.
H20 Gangs: Battle for the Most Precious Resource in a Warming City
H20 Gangs is a 3v3 urban game for warming cities developed during the Trust in Play 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture developed by Maelle Julou and I. The game is centered in a world where extreme urban heat waves have caused local gangs to form and fight over control of this precious resource: water.
Lekful Plats i Haninge (Playful Place in Haninge)
Fluke developed three place analysis games + interventions to involve the public in a placemaking project for an unused square in the suburbs of Stockholm.
Fluke Walks
Fluke has designed three playful Flukewalks. In a Flukewalk, participants dive into urban history, theory, and most importantly — play with the reconfiguring of the city. We’ve held one in the student community of Lappis, in the city centre of Normalm, and around Liljiholmen, a post-industrial area on the verge of redevelopment.
Aquatix Pontonen
Fluke’s second iteration of the floating winter placemaking project – this time exploring the concept of water. From dance performances, treasure hunts, sauna and an light up underwater octopus, Fluke created the program for the weekend event.
Labratory ABC (Arbete, Bostad, Centrum)
I was apart of the Agents of Change: Mediating Minorities EU Creative program with Tensta Konsthall, where my cohort designed a public laboratory as part of the Phantom of the Commons exhibition. Our research centered around the closing and selling of two public resources: Tensta High School and Tensta Träff.
Tonårsstaden (The Teenager City)
Fluke developed and facilitated a workshop for a high school class using a game developed using Instagram as part of the landscape architecture firm Landskapslaget seminar series on the Teenage City! We explored the city through images and then co-created a monument to the teenage city.
